im sitting at work. meant to update my blog but just ended up looking at really old entries - two summers ago. some funny stuff happened, like that guy falling off his motorcycle.
im still trying to catch up to the present in this thing. heres a quick end of break/new years recap.
i dont really remember what happened at the end of break. i was going back and forth from school and home for work. one night, harrel, frank, and i saw life aquatic at m8. then we had a total swingers moment pulling in/out of steak and shake. the all american melt is the new original double. we went to drews and chilled for a bit before heading out to a bar that i cant remember the name of. it was a jca bar, but jake was therefor some reason. the place was way too bright, and a bunch of kids were playing flip cup. needless to say, we didnt stay long. good night though.
i came back to work new years eve and new years day and to have a party in between those two shifts. on the way home, i met up with erika, sonia, and by chance my sister and her friends, at woodfield. on the wayhome, erika and i stopped at the liquor barn, which lived up to its name. we bought around 7 bottlesof champagne and a few other things, including a 3 liter bottle of heineken.
i wasnt too sure how the night was gonna go, but i wasnt very concerned about it either. pretty much everyone who was supposed to come came. plus seedro, who previously said he wouldnt be back in town. that was a pleasant surprise. we played beer pong till the heineken was gone. i gotta work on finishing. the night went well, i'd say most, if not all, had a good time. and it all cost 96% less than any hotel party. we drank pretty much everything, and we also got to listen to some good music that at least 5 of us were really into. a respectable start of the year for team big things. plus, i got to kiss a girl!
big ups to drew and frank for cleaning up while i was at work. i just had one thing to take care of when i got home... then i washed all the floors and the bathroom just cause it needed it. that was that, and now its 05, and my shift just ended.
