blockbuster patrons, buy a dvd player - my grandma has one and she loves it.
another day, another couple dollars/grocery store lunch/soccer practice with ricardo. got my wings now, in the top 5% - a small accomplishment in a summer filled with none. got to see a couple new places, do some new things, but lost some familiar faces, and forgot how to rhyme. or forgot how to sit down and put something down, im pretty sure i can still rhyme, but i doubt you'll ever hear it again. oh no!
the summer of unfinished business is almost finished, and so is my business for the most part. theres some unfinished business that i cant finish by myself, but that doesn't fit into the terms of 'the summer of unfinished business.' it may, however have more to do with the term of 'my life,' or perhaps remain unfinished which is okay too, cause i might just have better things to do. but every time i put that movie away...
i gotta get this amp fixed. the low buzzing is just killing me. rick portillo owes me a fuckin amp. this one is the exact same, cept it doesnt work... the only input that works is the line in, and its fuzzy. maybe ill take it to guitar center on wednesday. a few bucks would be worth it to fix i think. then i could just leave it on, or better yet, use the input and tweak the knobs to make my turntable sound the best. sounds like a plan, not like i have anything else to do anyways.
gotta watch some movies - soylent green, i am cuba, possession (not the gweneth paltrow one), escape from new york. the predator special edition dvd is sweet. besides having two united states governors in it, that movie ranks up there with die hard as one of the best action movies of all time. in my book at least. i grew up on arnold movies, so i couldnt understand how the 3 people i watched it with had never seen it before. as sean said, "they still make those?" as chris rock said, "Whenever I meet a girl that doesn't give head, I look at them like a damn Betamax...like 'they still make you?'"
and now for something completely different... im gonna go watch that, and see if what i used to think was funny matches up with what i think is funny now.
